Terms and conditions
The terms of your seat.
These terms apply to leaders who take part in Take n Tora programmes and to anyone using this website. Solution providers work with us under a separate consultancy agreement, which governs that relationship.

1. Your seat
Seats are complimentary for qualifying leaders and are confirmed only after we have reviewed and verified your request. We may decline a request that does not meet a community’s eligibility criteria.
2. Your agenda
Before each programme you complete a preference form. We build your personal agenda from your focus area choices, usually in the five weeks before the programme.
3. Attendance and cancellation
Peer sessions work because the people who signed up arrive. Please attend the sessions on your confirmed agenda. If you need to cancel, tell us in writing at support@takentora.com as early as you can.
If something comes up, you can:
- nominate a colleague who meets the same eligibility criteria,
- attend only some of your sessions, or
- reschedule any solution provider meetings you have chosen.
4. Solution conversations are optional
Meeting a solution provider is never a condition of your seat. An introduction happens only when you have asked to explore a challenge and agreed to the meeting.
5. Confidentiality
What is said in a peer session stays in the session. You may use what you learn, but do not attribute it to the person or organisation who shared it. Do not record sessions, and do not share other participants’ contact details outside the programme without their consent.
6. Conduct
Peer sessions are for leaders, not for selling. Anyone who pitches products or services in a peer session, or does not treat other participants with respect, may be asked to leave and may not be invited back.
7. Changes on our side
We may need to change the date, time, format or platform of a programme. We will tell you as early as possible. If a programme is postponed or cancelled for reasons beyond our control, we are not liable for any resulting loss.
8. This website
The content on this website belongs to Take n Tora unless stated otherwise. It is provided for general information. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from its use.
9. Personal information
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
